About Me

My lifelong passion for sports has been a driving force in my personal and professional journey. From an exceptional high school basketball career to an accomplished collegiate career, I was often invited to serve as a guest speaker, special guest coach, and sports camp counselor.

These opportunities allowed me to mentor and inspire young student athletes—not just in developing their skills but in fostering confidence, decision-making, and overall well-being. Even after my playing days, my connection to sports remained strong.

After receiving multiple offers to play professionally overseas and invitations to WNBA workouts, I transitioned into sports media, launching a 21-year career with CBS Sports as an associate director and producer. In this role, I honed my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills—ultimately earning three Emmy Awards. Throughout my career, I remained deeply involved in youth and team organizations, ensuring that my work in sports extended beyond broadcasting and into community engagement. I have always believed in a holistic approach to youth athletics, using sports as a vehicle to teach perseverance, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship. My goal has always been to make young athletes feel valued, empowered, and included, while promoting accessibility and inclusivity in sports.

With a lifelong commitment to athletics, mentorship, and community, I am eager to bring my full experience and passion to you. This opportunity represents a powerful moment to merge my love for sports, television, and film while also drawing from the richness of my intersectional identity. I see each space I enter, whether it’s a family setting, a school, and atheltic program, or a media platform, as an opportunity to lead with empathy, authenticity, and purpose. I’m excited about the impact we can make together.

Above all, my greatest joy comes from being a devoted mother to my daughters, Lula and Kalei, and my son, Theodore.
