Broadcast + Production Resume
Opting for a career in broadcast television over professional basketball opportunities, Chinyere joined CBS Sports in 2001. Over a distinguished 21-year tenure, she served as an associate director, director, and producer, covering marquee events such as the NFL, Super Bowl, NCAA Basketball, March Madness, The Masters, US Open Tennis, and the Tour de France. Her contributions earned her three Emmy Awards—including honors for NCAA Men’s Basketball March Madness and the AFC Football Playoffs—and she notably served as the coordinating producer for NFL Today. In September 2022, she transitioned from CBS Sports to focus on full-time motherhood and diverse creative pursuits.
Chinyere further expanded her impact by co-founding SaChin Productions, an independent film, television, and live event production company known for producing the Afro Latino Festival NYC and the sports show Keeping Score on WBAI radio, uniting communities through compelling storytelling. More recently, she has directed for the NBA 2K League and the Charlemagne the GOD Show and served as a field producer for a documentary accepted into the Sundance Film Festival.
